To successfully become a general practitioner requires exposure to all aspects of Primary Care, experience treating the endless variety of cases seen in a typical GP workload, an educational package designed to supplement the hospital orientated knowledge and the support required to enable this to happen.

At Southbourne Surgery we have a commitment as a team to support and encourage GP registrar training and in return expect registrars to rise to the responsibilities and challenge of this Partnership.

An educational agreement is signed at the outset and as much support as necessary is given to make their Vocational training year and Summative Assessment demands enjoyable and productive.
